Manohar holds a Masters Degree (MSW) with Specialisation in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Madras School of Social work (Gold Medalist) & Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Madras university and Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development from Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD).

Manohar has 32 years experience in diverse industries like Information Technnology, Banking & Financial services, Speciality Fine Chemicals, Medicare & Manufacturing in Blue Chip Organisations like Larsen & Toubro, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, RPG Group (JVs with British Tar Products, UK & Clariant Switzerland) Murugappa Group & Apollo Hospitals.

In his quest to explore, he never spared academics and had 2 years stint as Asst. Professor in Madras School of Social Work (MSSW – Chennai) teaching Organisation Behaviour, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations & Labour Laws subjects.

He has handled strategic and leadership roles in diverse groups as Head of HR and has built critical experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training & Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Policies & PMS, Organisation Design and Restructuring, Culture Building & Employee Engagement, Industrial Relations and Compliances. Some of the Key initiatives are partnering with JV’s in involving & implementing HR/IR strategies, ensure robust delivery of people processes/practices – Performance Management System People Planning/Talent Review, Organisational Health Survey, Implementing Employee Engagement Programs, designing and rolling out Learning and OD Interventions e.g. Organisation Design, Change Management, Career Development Programs, Cascading company Values, building hiring capability/processes, rightsizing, setting up International HR Processes and communication systems.
